What is CHRISTOPHORUS – the Porsche magazine?

CHRISTOPHORUS is Porsche's exclusive customer magazine and is one of the oldest and most prestigious corporate publications in the world. Since the first issue in 1952, each issue has been numbered consecutively, making historical copies highly sought-after collector's items. The magazine offers unique insights behind the scenes and strengthens the bond between the brand and its customers worldwide.

Implementation

As one of the world's leading corporate publications, Christophorus sets editorial and design standards. Since 2024, storyboard has been responsible for content production, from strategic topic planning and production with exclusive interviews and reports to final print preparation in 12 languages, including Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.

The aim is to give readers an understanding of the technology and fascination of the vehicles, as well as authentic insights into the company, to introduce the people behind the brand, and to provide exclusive insights into the global Porsche community.

Contents of the magazine

Christophorus takes a look behind the scenes at Porsche and highlights all facets of the brand: from the presentation of new models, technological innovations, and motorsport history to portraits of designers, developers, and personalities who shape Porsche.

The magazine also takes an in-depth look at the Porsche community. The reports range from a record store owner and classic car enthusiast from Vietnam to a British earl and a Hollywood director.

Each issue delivers a curated mix of international stories, exclusive vehicle features, and cultural topics that reflect the lifestyle of the discerning target audience.

In addition to the print magazine, storyboard adapts, designs and implements digital content for the Christophorus website and, until the end of 2024, also produced the moving image format 9:11 Magazine. Here, current topics, historical milestones and exciting personalities from the world of Porsche are brought to life in professionally produced video reports. storyboard managed the entire process from concept to post-production in collaboration with renowned production companies and created suitable social media assets for Instagram, Facebook, X and LinkedIn.

In addition, all Christophorus content is prepared for the website and digital extensions are developed. Social media posts are also created for LinkedIn on the magazine's publication date and for the Porsche Newsroom Instagram channel on selected stories from the magazine.

For each issue of Christophorus, storyboard organizes and realizes elaborate photo shoots at international locations. Working closely with a global network of first-class photographers, they create image series that capture the dynamism of the vehicles and the emotion of the brand. The focus is on modern, narrative imagery that lives up to Porsche's premium standards.
